During Nepal’s constitutional development period, Safala also supported lawyers and judges as an observer and community educator, helping raise awareness in rural underserved areas about citizens’ rights and responsibilities under the evolving legal framework. Working under the supervision of legal professionals, she assisted the legal team by coordinating outreach efforts, collecting community data, and entering records to support their work. This experience deepened her understanding of civic responsibility, justice, and the importance of legal education in empowering marginalized communities.

From 2010 to 2013, Safala Mishra made a lasting impact on the community in Nepal through her initiative, Home Pillars To Children, a pioneering organization she founded to advance children’s rights and welfare.“Home Pillars To Children” symbolizes a safe and nurturing foundation where children—the true pillars of a thriving society—are empowered, supported, and guided to grow into compassionate and capable individuals.” Driven by her deeply held belief that children are the true pillars of a thriving planet, she worked tirelessly to create opportunities for vulnerable youth, ensuring access to quality education and providing comprehensive support to meet both their immediate and long-term needs. Her efforts spanned mentorship programs, educational initiatives, health and nutrition assistance, and advocacy for child protection, reflecting her unwavering commitment to nurturing every child’s potential. Through this work, Safala not only transformed individual lives but also laid the groundwork for a more compassionate, equitable, and sustainable society in Nepal.
Over the years, Safala has served in various volunteer roles that reflect her dedication to community well-being.
As a Community Health Advocate at a local clinic in Nepal, she organized health awareness campaigns, supported free medical camps, provided screenings, and connected individuals to essential services.
She also coordinated environmental cleanup efforts with city parks and recreation programs, leading teams to promote recycling, waste management, and environmental responsibility.
As a Public Health Educator in rural Nepal, she educated communities about medication safety, vaccine awareness, tuberculosis prevention, and responsible antibiotic use while mentoring students in academic planning and confidence building.
Additionally, as a Community Health Analyst and Educator with a focus on Lymphatic Filariasis, she delivered culturally sensitive education, addressed stigma around chronic conditions, and assisted with data collection and community outreach.
